before i make a purchase i was wondering if 96-00 civic struts will fit a 91 si?
and a vafc doesnt allow me to change my redline correct?

struts WILL NOT work, and i cant remember if you can change redline. i dont think so tho.. i dont think i could with my first one (blue/silver one)...

thanks, guess i gotta find different struts and im just gonna cough up the money and get my s200 retuned

Is your motor built? If not, then there's no point in messing with the redline...

race preped oem rods(shot peened and all that stuff)
pm6 pistons(10.5:1cr)
zex cam, looking into crower stage 2 maybe 3
77.50 bore
depending on i get the crower stage 3 cam, i have a ported and polished head im going to have milled to raise compression to 12:1 if i have the clearence, gotta check comp calculator http://http://www.zealautowerks.com/dseries.html

may buid a b instead also
will itr head fit b16 block?

yeah, tuning is key. for these two main reasons.

1. that kind of set up would run like complete garbage with out tuning
2. it wont last. you would destroy your motor.

just want to spend less money, it was gonna be my dd

Honestly I wouldn't want that motor build for a daily driver, it's going to be pretty high strung with all the race-prepped parts in there.

And yeah, if you're seriously going to do a build like this, then crapping out on the tuning would be one of the worst choices you could make, especially if you're looking for a reliable daily driver...

ok so retune it is.

another question milling my head .025 will give me 11.5:1 cr
but my piston to deck height will be -.0000, is that good or bad?(thats also with .027 headgasket)
or will i have to just clay it to see if i have clearence?
