96+ automatic civic cluster w/tach

i have a 96 civic dx with no tach. i was wondering if a 96+ automatic cluster would work. my friend has one and he going to give it to me. but i dont want it if it aint gonna work. so will it? and if so, how do i do it? just plug and play? thanks for any help.

First, you should post this in General Maitnence.
Second, if the Gauge cluster is for an automatic, your car need to be automatic also. if not, it won't work right, if it is, it will plug and play, very easy to change, good luck
