96 civic swap

i have a 96 civic and i wanted to swap a B-series engine...but in order for my car to pass smog, it has to be stock D-series right?

not tru.....you can smog a swap in your car...you just have to take it to the BAR state ref...and it depends where you are from too

If youre in CA your motor has to be the same year or newer than your car. There are other things but I know thats the main thing they look for.

yeah, you can use like an ITR or a GSR swap...maybe an LS if you can get a 96+...just dont do a head swap and youll be okay.
