im working on this 96 ls. i give u the the run down so far new distributor, new plug wires, the wire been replaced like 3 months ago, has new map. and temp sensors, new fuel filter and pump, and brand new battery. the car use to have leaky injectors but today some lightly used very clean gsr injectors from 97. they fit perfectly and work get but today it started up great drove great, stopped and shut off for like 20 mins and got back in and i had trouble startin up. but i finally got it to start and so i drove home and cleaned the plugs and it started up but i turned off 4 ten mins and i had trouble starting up again. idk what it could be

did you reset the ecu?? that could be the problem too.. but check if your getting spark.. and check if your injector plugs are getting power from them.. it happened to me before and i wasn't getting power from the first cylinder injector.. oh and if you still have the original injectors.. change the O rings and put them back.. sometimes the obd2 ecu won't let you use the gsr injectors because of the sensors..

ecu cannot differentiate the injectors, all honda obd1/2 injectors for
    4cyl are 240cc saturated
(with the exception of some preludes)

I would check both your ignition timing and maybe your coolant temp sensor if the temp sensor is messed up it could be dumping too much fuel when the engine is hot when it doesn't need it. if your spark plugs are coming out very black and needing cleaning then it is running way too rich, you may also have an o2 sensor problem./
