I need help! 97 Accord ex

I need help i have a 96 honda accord lx non v-tec and im putting in a 97 honda accord ex vtec motor and tranny in. Will the alternator from the 96 honda accord lx fit the the 97 vtec engine ?

Only problem you might have is this: Haynes manuals says somewhere there are two different alternators for 94-97, don't remember the two names though, it's been so long since I read it. But it might be a difference at that 94-95 vs. 96-97 point, rather than two providers all along. It's two completely different brands and connectors, so double check that.
