Anybody know what the vtec crossover point is on a 97 civic si. (d16y8) I just recently bought it. It has a JRSC on it as well as a fields vtec controller. Its currently set at 4000rpm which seems to low to me. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

My Y8 was in the 5500 to 5700 range. Not that it matters, but mine was a Canadian Si motor. If it is kicking in at 4000 rpm, that is too low.

Thanks guys. I thought it seemed to low. This is my first experience with a supercharger. Figured maybe it was set at 4000 because of it. Does seem to pull better in the higher rpm's now that I've set it at 5600.
