i'm in the process of putting in a 97 gsr motor and tranny and also using the 97 harness..I noticed on the shock tower connectors that the 97 gsr harness has 4 connector as opposed to the 3 usually found on regular civic and integra's..it is a 3 wire connector. any info on what connector that is for?

You need to use your stock ls harness on the gsr. then run wires for vtec and iabs. you can use somethin like this if you want. makes things easier.

Not to mention you're attempting to run an OBD2a motor in an OBD1 car. Look that up too.

make your life easier by running an obd1 dizzy with an obd1 gsr p72. this removes the need for an ecu jumper. the subharness connector for iabs, vtec, vtec oil pressure, and knock will be all you need
