97 Shifter Help

i have a 97 civic ex and am trying to see if there is anyway to put the cable shifter setup out of a DSM car i like how smooth they shift

that really is not going to make that much of a difference. it will to a certain point but alot is the tranny also.i dont think its worth it but thats up to u.its a cool idea tho.and if u like the look of the boner coming out of the dash(like 2003 si's)u could put the shifter up there. well just have fun.thats what havin a car is about
