Ok I seem to have an issue with a 98 civic. The fuel pump was just replaced about 2 weeks ago and now every now and then the car just shuts off. the only thing that has been noticed when the car shuts off is that the temp gauge drops to cold. cold it be an ecu problem, or something to do with the fuel pump? i am at a loss here... any help is GREATLY appreciated

check the ecu for what? any codes? there are no CEL's, and no i haven't thought of the main relay...

i hooked the car up to a scanner today, and nothing... could it be a crank angle sensor? or just the ecu?

I know on my 98 I had a recall for a ignition module and my car shut off a few times while driving...then I started to have a dead battery everyday... ended up being all from that recall

thanks guys. now how to i go about finding if it were my vehicle affected? get the vin and call the dealership?
