98 Dx Harness On Obd2 B16?

Has anyone made a obd2 dx harness work on a obd 2 B series motor? What did you do to make it work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if they are both OBD-2 then you wont have to worry about plugs not matching
just lengthen the few wires that dont reach
you will also need to add the wires for VTEC

Here is the problem, thats what I did, but now i get a code for the crank position sensor, and idle air control. The idle air contorl off a sohc is a 3 wire where as a dohc is a 2 wire. How do i make these work?

first of all, there are 2 obd2's.
obd2a and obd2b
2a ia in tegs up till and including 2000, and civics till 1999.

if you are throwing your CPS, check your distributor. the plugs there are not the same as on the civic and teg, and that leads to problems a lot of times.
as for the iac, get a helms for both your car and your motor. figure out what the wires are, and go from there.
if its a GSR motor, the extra wire might be part of the IAB's. I don't know. I hate obd2 with a passion
