I've got a 98 lx sedan with a non-vtec d16y7. I want to put a turbo on. Should I swap the head with a vtec d16y8 or just go for a b16a2 or b18b. I am willing to spend some money but I'd like to keep my budget down. I only want about 250-300 hp out of the motor. I am going to get a performance module, intake, exhaust, all the goodies.
    Thanx

Ls is a DOHC non vtec engine found in a teg, vafc is a vtec air/flow converter(piggyback computer upgrade),The turbo you run will determine other nescessary mods to fuel and ignition,exhaust,etc...You will need to change transmissions from the one you have now,but since most motor swaps include this don't worry about it.
