99 b16a2 in 97 ex question?

Hi I have a 97 ex coupe with a swap froma 99 si and I have a light problem. At night the lights will dim when I give it gas and brighten when I let go. I've changed the Alternator,battery, fuse box, and ran extra ground and it still does it. I think it might have somthing to do with the engine harness. My other question is if I have to buy another engine harness do I buy one for a 97 or 99 ex and if there is any extra wiring I would have to do.

lights dimming when you give it gas is very strange. if they dimmed when you let off, it would be a lack of power from the alt.

tell us more about your swap. what harness, what ecu, etc

Thanx for the reply. its a 99 b16a2 they used the 97 harness and I'm running a p973 ecu
