hey folks.
Car: 1997 Honda Civic ex coupe
Engine, A/C components : B16a2 from 2000 Si
I have all piping, belts, etc. for a/c installed. The air from vents comes out with variation (speeds 1, 2, 3, 4). Moving temp dial doesn't change heat or coolness. It just blows, literately. Air is blown @ same temp of what's in engine bay (hot, esp. in Texas). Also, changing settings (vent, floor panel, defrost windshield) will not work, either. It just blows air from main vents. While driving, it blows a little air (like earlier, same temp as outside). Any suggestions? I've added six (6) 16 oz. cans of R-134 refrigerant and it still blows hot air. Of course, frost accumulates @ low-side pressure service port but it doesn't affect temps. Please help, it's retarded hot in Texas
