I need a good virus prog and fast, or a website that can scan my HD and see if there is one. I gtg now but Ill be on later, I hope someone can help me.

find out what is PCcillion's site is.. i think treadsoft.com or something.. search, they will scan our HD through their webpage

if you are using XP.. might be the pop up messages that XP allows through some network.. there is a program you can get and it sends it to so many ppl that is using XP.. i get em, grey pop ups, but they are porn ones.

The "program" is the Windows Messenger service that has been packaged with Windows since Windows was first released back in... 93?

Search Micro$oft's knowledge base for "messenger popups" and you'll find the cure to that problem. If you're on a domain though, I would recommend talking to your admin for a solution, because turning off Windows Messenger is a bad idea in that setting.

I got norton 2003 but it never worked, so i deleted it, no this wasnt a messanger thing. i have ME and trust me this is like something ive never seen before.

I would save the files you want, mount them readonly on another system, virus scan them, then reload you comp, and put the files back on. Only way to be sure...
