A word on GM / Ford / Chrysler

They are way too big to fall. They might have a huge fallout, need a govt bail out, restructure, new leadership, etc.. But they will not just fall flat on their faces.

They have a part in way more than just building automobiles to go under.

That's just it... They won't just up and disappear if they go under like many people think... Most of the people who have jobs now will still have jobs, but under a different name. Some restructuring, retooling some plants, a different company name and bam... you're making Hondas.

oh and btw, on top of all of this the fed says we're not doing enough to bail out the mortgage sector. He thinks we should do more and use public funds to do it.

I just swapped out the ECU in my jeep.

It's got a Ford sticker on it. So does the new one.

of course neither work. So it could be either Chrysler OR Ford.

Yes, the ECU in my 1988 Chrysler generation CJ7 Wrangler is..... a Ford.
