ABS civic EG vs ITR DC2

im trying to install ABS on my civic EG from 94'
i got the ABS modulator/pump, control unit and 4 sensors from another EG

i have installed a 5 lug brake conversion from an DC2(98spec) on my civic and i have also bought an master cylinder/brakebooster + proportion valve from an DC2(98spec) with ABS...

så here is my questions
1. is there any diffence between the EG ABS modulator and the DC2 ABS modulator?

2. i know i need to find an ABS harness and make new brake lines... but is there anything else im missing?

How is the ABS controlled. Is it through the engine ECU or is there a stand alone ABS controller?
