Accord Gearbox onto Prelude engine?

Hi guys,

I'm building a kit car and the donor is a Honda Accord but I have gone for the 2.2 VETEC Prelude engine to make it a bit more fun.

I recently busted the prelude gearbox and am wondering if the 2 or the 2.2ltr Accord will fit in? (I happen to have one in my garden from the first donor)

Help on this would be great as I can find info anywhere?

I believe that the f-series will bolt up to the h, but not positive

It will bolt up to the engine and work just fine. The gear ratios on the Accord's transmission are slightly longer, so it's not exactly the best choice for an H22, but it will work...

motor mount studs on the mission are different. You will have to drill and tap the casting and move the studs. However, being a kit car the motor mounts might need to be different anyway? You may just have to use the mount from an accord.
