Acura 1.6 EL

I know that you guys in the US dont have these but i am thinking of replacing the d16y with a b18c1 and tranny . It's a 99 acura 1.6 el, not any different from a civc. I just wanted to know how hard this swap would be and if it would be a straight swap?

1.6 EL DOHC or SOHC ?

if it's the 1.6 ZC motor then no, it won't bolt up. Look at the starter hole / locations for hints.

The motor in the acura EL is a d16y SOHC and the one going in is a b18c1 from a gsr.
