Adj Cam

hey, i just got an aem adj cam gear, anyone know if i should advance or retard it, im currently running just intake and exhaust w/ no cat just a straight pipe. Im looking to make my car quicker and pull more...can anyone tell me wich way to adjust and how many degrees cause i have no idea?

advance intake, retard exhaust.

Two or three degrees advanced will give you a better pull off the line.

alright thanks, will that also give me pull in every gear on the low end?
