Adjustable Cam Gear

How do you adjust a cam gear ? Its on my engine and I need to know how to adjust it please.

loosen the outer bolts, use a 17mm wrench in the middle bolt to move accordingly, tighten outer bolts back down... make sure you know what you are doing
