The nut on the wastegate, to adjust boost, is it, the higher the nut (loosened) the lower the boost, or is it the lower the nut (tightened), the lower the boost?

The more you tighten fown the wastegate adjustment bolt/nut, the higher the minimum boost setting.

For example, take the bolt out completely, it might hold 6 PSI if the spring is a 7 psi spring. If you tighten it down a good bit(careful not to compress the spring too much), you might squeeze 9 psi out of a 7 psi spring.

    Hope this helps.
