aftermarket cam in a mini me?

Hi i have a 1991 Honda CRX with a d15b2 that i swapped a 99 d16y8 head onto... is it possible to safely put a aftermarket cam such as crower, zex, etc? is there enough valve to piston clearance to do so? if so is there any recommended or preferred cam grind? staying n/a and to be used strictly on the street. if any other information is needed please don't hesitate to ask thanks

has anyone used either of these cams in a mini me? have been told not possible to run an aftermarket cam in a mini me due to piston to valve clearances being too tight ...myth?

i would think that if you get vtec pistons in the block youll be fine.....
