aftermarket cd player install question

i don't know if my car has a factory keyless entry system, i didn't get any remotes when i bought it! now crutchfield wants to know what wiring harness to send me, and i don't know what to tell them!! how can i find out without taking my dash apart?? any special letters or numbers in the vin#??

if you spend $129+ on a cd player from crutchfield.com they will include the dash kit, wiring harness, and install directions for free.

well my ex had keyless entry so i would just get that one but if its the wrong one just go to autozone and get the right one for 7 bucks

If you dont have remotes now, and if u did have the factory keyless, the only thing u would lose is the dome light. But to fix that just connect the light green w red and the light green with black together. These wires are on the green plug behind the radio. If the green plug is not there then u dont have keyless. The keyless harness is to relocate the factory radio which is a pain. I would just get the non keyless and connect the wires.

so i can get the regular harness, and not the keyless entry one?? will i still loose my dome light?
