Well a good bit of states still inforce the helmet law.... Well PA just removed it so now if you're over 21 and have had a motorcycle DL for over 2 years they figure your head is stronger when you hit the ground so no need for a helmet there.

FL I believe has no helmet law other then the fact that you HAVE TO have a viewable helmet attacted to your bike. Doesnt have to be on your head. just has to be viewable by passing cars.

Not as much gore as I hoped, but that's a good thing, for the rider.

Damn that car was fubar in the corner.

All I can say is
    That's a good helmet.

Some how 120 mph doesn't seem to fit with those injuries if he wasn't wearing leathers.

well if he just flew and skidded on the pavement, I guess it could be possible. it's when you hit things that the gore happens

agree.. negative on the 120mph.. it woulda been way worse. FL does have a no helmet law.. i live here. I've NEVER heard of the "having the helmet attached to the bike". Can u show me where u saw this.. if its possible, im just curious. If its true.. NOBODY abides by it. From my understanding u can rock no helmet as long as u have bodily injury insurace $20,000+, and thats all u need.

Everyone I know that rides said that before they got a bike. Then when they got one, they said they'd have to save up for leathers. Most of them have jackets only & they rarely ever wear them. But at least most of them are smart enough to always wear pants & long sleeves.

Thats pretty sad.... I wear full gear everyday no matter how long or how short of a ride

If you do not have enough money to buy gear then you DO NOT have enough money to buy a bike.

It's kinda like buying a car with no seats or seatbelts sure you can drive it but do you really want to?

I agree. If I owned a streetbike, I would have leathers. My brother took a low speed spill because of a stupid lady in a van. Half of the outside of his thigh was roadrash. Tore his jeans right out of the way and put the grinder to his skin.

Even if you are going slow, if you lay your bike down and are not wearing leathers, you're fucked. The pavement wil eat through your worthless jeans like they are nothing and guess what's next? your skin.

Be safe guys, I wear leathers, gloves, helmet, and pants EVERY time I ride. From 2 hour road trips to 10 minute grocery runs. Doesn't matter, better safe than .... missing half your leg or something else.
