I fianlly got around to taking the 15 minutes to take the turbo off.
I started to dissasemble it...I'm still waiting for my rebuild kit..
I only got the compressor housing off and found the leaking problem. It was the compressor seal. There was a nice chunk missing from it. I would have taken a picture but I just scraped the shit off.
I feel so much better now, knowing where the leak is. I can't wait for my kit to come so I can have some boost. It's a shame I didn't just take the shit off and look, cause that seal is no more than 10 bucks from Saab/Ford. Either way I'll have a freshly rebuilt turbo soon.
