Intel is doing the samething with it's new Conroe chip, and supposedly the coreduo is getting close to the FX-60 in some bench marks. This should start a good speed war between AMD and Intel, which should lead to prices falling too. Which will be good as GPU prices are out of control right now and only rising.

fuck amd. well i gave them a shot anyways.

i got to play with a semperon 3100+ system, 1GB ram and some ati radeon 128mb video card.

the thing STRUGGLED to play rose.

one of my older toshibas with a 1.6 centrino, 1GB ram, and 64MB nvidia card out-played it hardcore.
