Not really. Ti is a very aggressive metal, meaning, it tends to grab whatever other metal it rubs against. Your pistons would probably last, oh, about an hour inside Ti sleeves.
 
I mean so far as withstanding pressure. We use TI on lines for the B1, it's great for holding up to the 4K PSI system pressure.
 
Ti is also brittle. I'd rather have a sleeve that bends a wee bit before it breaks, rather than having NO give. Kinda like the wings on the B1... ;)
