another earthquake hits japan

    This one was a 7.4 and another tsunami warning has been issued for the north east coast

    yeah, it was in Miyagi. so far, no injuries and minor power outages.

    i think we need to go in and just pick japan up and move it.

    sooner or later, the place is going to disappear, and we'll lose a very vital country and lots of great intelligence.

    That shows you how earthquake-proof Japan is, and how freaking big the 9.0 was. A 7.4 is a gigantic earthquake in itself, and it was really just an aftershock... one that hardly fazed an already crippled infrastructure.

    As far as energy released, the big one was 700 times more powerful. :ph34r:

    apparently the tsunami created a new salt water lake in the mountains of japan.. wow

    I read somewhere they're going to experience these aftershocks(if you call them that) for the next 6 months at least.

    Man, sucks. Makes me happy that I live in Vegas where nothing happens in terms of weather, except people freaking out about it sprinkling and calling it a flash flood.
