My friend has a Mercedes 240D. Its slow as hell. Not that it has anythjing to do with anything.

Yes. Rode in my dad's 'new' beat to holy fuck it hit a tree hell, 150k mile supercharged Buick Ultra. Shit ran like a graped ape. Even shifted like the tits too.

I have NO idea what you just said.

^Ok, now I understood that. I was wondering if you were drunk when you posted the prior post... :lmao:

90-93 accord front rotor change makes it a car i would rather not own
bullshit

edit: meh google wins
we always did them with a slide hammer
There are 4 bolts that hold the hub to the rotor; remove two of these (the ones closest to the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions) and re-insert two 10mm x 1.25 three inch long or longer well-greased bolts; when these two new bolts (they should be available at Ace Hardware) contact the backing plate (which will be supported against these bolts by the inner hub), alternate tightening them until the outer hub (attached to the rotor) separates and can be pulled away from the car. Remove all 4 bolts (the two new long ones and the remaining two original ones) and the rotor will separate from the hub.

Alright, will do.

1996 Volvo runs about $200 a month to insure. Cheapest car we have found to insure for her is a 92' Civic sedan like mine. $180 a month to insure (comprehensive with minimums)

Haven't been able to find one that isn't beat as fuck with a million miles that is a reasonable price.

American cars mostly suck. But look for "American" cars. Like my girlfriend's Escort GT. It's just a Mazda 626 with an American body. It hasn't been taken very well care of, but it kicks some ass for being beat.

Yea, I've never been a huge fan of true American cars. We did have a Mercury Villager that had 280k miles on it when parents got divorced, Mom got it, sister wrecked it, they were too dumb to fix it properly, they sold it to pull a part, guess someone bought it as a running car from them and I STILL see it driving around (it is distinguishable by features, antenna was snapped halfway up and a screw was put into the top of it to prevent water from filling it, some dents/scratches/etc). I'm guessing it has to be going on 350k miles. A Mercury Villager is just a Nissan Quest. Those little V6's are fucking bullet proof.

A 95 vw? You've got to be kidding me.

Look at these.

Nissan Altima 2.5.
Mazda 3 if you can find one.
Mazda Protege 5

Jesus, that sucks! My 06 RSX S is $240 a month, full coverage, and I feel like I'm getting ass-raped some times...

Sounds like she should be riding a bicycle

90-93 accord. Fits the bill perfectly.

who cares if it sucks or if it is unrelible?

odds are, she's just going to stuff it again before it needs anything major... lol

Good call. :lmao:. That's why she won't be driving it. It'll be for me to drive... she just doesn't know that yet. She won't be driving it unless she needs it for a weekday I'm doing a trackday and can't carpool with her to work.

Disclaimer. I'm going to be a dick.

You work with your girlfriend and carpool? Do you also live together? Sounds like a recipe for disaster at such a young age. HUGE disaster.

We don't work together. We work fairly close to each other so it makes sense to car pool. I spend about $50 a month on gas since she pays for half of it.

We do live together. We rent a room, in cash. Nothing ties us together financially and we plan on keeping it that way. We have tons of fun together.

She accompanies me to all my trackdays and she also goes to my autocrosses and rides with me for some of the runs until she gets sick :)lol:). We ride bicycles together once the weather here does get nice.

I really enjoy her company. We've been together for three years now. Lived together two years. The sex is great and so is the fun we have. I have no complaints.
