uspect arrested after gruesome hit-and-run

NEAR KALAMAZOO (NEWS 3) - Authorities have a suspect in custody after a gruesome hit-and-run involving a pick-up truck and a motorcycle. It happened just before 10:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Main near Turwill Lane in Kalamazoo Township.
Witnesses say they saw the pickup hit the motorcycle from behind and push it more than 100 feet, knocking the driver off the bike. They said the motorcycle was tangled in the truck's bumper and that the driver backed up and hit the victim again as he lay in the road.
The driver then drove away.
The suspect was arrested less than a half-hour later at Concord Apartments nearby. He's now in the county jail.
The victim, 53-year-old John McGuire, is in critical condition.
