    Fact is, this site from this point forward will not be built for IE. if you like it, thats fine, it will still work, but IE sucks, and simply doesn't do things right. yoiu probably alredy have noticed that the buttons are not boxes as they are rendered ina real browser that supports stuff standardized in, oh, 1997... a basic border. Complicated, i know... but IE can't seem to pull it off.

    IE6 was released in early 2000...

    How many of us even have SYSTEMS that old? and yet, you still use the software.
    hell, a lot of us don't even have CARS that old.

    Hello and welcome to the internet.

    IE has a shit load of CRITICAL rated updates.

    Even the gov't is against it.

    I'm not the only one.

    and I'm not preaching to the chior here.
    A lot of you have already converted- but still, 95% of our traffic today was IE

    http://s11.sitemeter.com/rpc/server.asp?a=...=false&rnd=5615

    and that's fucking sad.

    Perhaps, i should code an IE-only virus... lol no, i wouldn't do that to you guys.

    the point of this is to get with it- upgrade your browser. ITS FREE. THINGS LOOK BETTER. DOWNLOAD FASTER. AND KEEP YOUR SYSTEM SAFER and steer from child porn.

    I've been using Mozilla and Firefox on my two machines for quite a while now, and have never had any problems, except when I upgraded to AOL 9.0 optimized. AOL had some gay firewall protector that made it so Mozilla and a IE not work. AOL blows. I just run 8.0 now so I can use my mozilla.

    Get a decent firewall, I don't get shit for popups, because well...I don't go to porn sites.

    On my fast ass comp, Mozilla runs like Netscape 1.03

    depending on how your network is setup, you may have to enter in proxy settings

    Edit->prefs

    is like IE's
    Tools->Internet Options menu

    I *shouldn't* have to buy extra hardware and software just to do something as simple as browsing a few websites.

    As for firewalls and routers, I have a DLink wireless AP/router/firewall all-in-one deal and a Cisco 2507. Firewalls don't do shit for popup blocking unless you specify domains and IPs that you don't wanna receive content from. Nor do they stop spyware.

    Software firewalls are pure and utter crap. Period. The hole in BlackICE that zeros-out the first few sectors of your drive rendering it trashed is a good example of that.

    On my 400MHz system, Firefox flies. Your system = teh sux0r. I also run Linux, so that could be a big part of that.

    I don't get any spyware or popups, even if I do visit www.transsexualmidgetstakingituptheass.com

    HTTP--Port
    SSL--Port
    FTP--Port
    Gopher--Port
    Socks Host--Port

    ???? I have no idea.
    Where would I find out this information?
