Any ideas for what kind of engine to use?

I have a 1985 Honda Accord, and the engine that is in it right now is complete trash. i was wondering if you guys had any ideas of what i should put in it?
 
What do you mean when you say the current engine is "trash"? Do you mean that it's in bad shape? Or do you mean that you're not satisfied with it performance wise?

Honestly you don't really have many options here for performance. None that will be easy swaps anyway...
 
replacement engine or just ditch the car, swaps will probably too costly and hardly worth it in that chassis.
