any one have the gmb water pump ?

so im replacing my water pump i don't need to but i think its a good idea when i ordered it said oem replacement and they sent me the gmb made in japan so im just wondering if there any good or junk

Never heard of them before.. but if it's made in Japan chances are it will probably be ok.

No I'm being serious.. most of the aftermarket stuff I've seen that was actually made in Japan looked like pretty good quality. Usually all the cheap shit comes from Taiwan or China or something like that.

ok so is there anything i have to do to the pump b4 i put it on ? oil or anything ?

No just clean the block surface up really good so no material is left.. a scotch brite pad helps if it's hard to remove. Other than that just bolt the new one on and you're good to go.
