anybody turbo a d16y7?

Im thinking about turboing my wifes car with something small. The only proble I see is running the charge pipe to the intake manifold since it sits retarted. Has anybody done this?

we did it to my friend's car...we even got him a different intake manifold, but he was too lazy to swap it out. the hood still closes fine and everything.

yeah he bought four 180 degree bends and had to steal half of one of mine because he made his downpipe too.

Dude f**k that, just swap in a d16y8 manifold which flows better and is a cheap upgrade, also its the easyist to find.

is the manifold a direct swap?

we gave him the intake manifold of a jdm d15b. He just didnt want to swap it.
the y8 manifold should just bolt right on. if you are gonna turbo it I suggest getting arp headstuds and doing them at the same time...so you dont have to take off the manifolds twice when you blow your headgasket.
