I got a question for ya if you do.

got a guy that has a S&M NG Holmes frame, brand new and will sell it for about 100 bucks, this frame has naver been built.

he also has Profile SS cranks that are almost new, been ridden twice, never dropped for $160 for cranks and BB.

if you know what im talking about, would you pick these up for this price? the problem is i am only like 5'7" and the Holmes has a 21" top tube, so i dont know if its too big for me. i dont ride a lot fo street anymore but if i want to sometime i dont want it to be too big.

i think the prices are good, check out the dans comp website. use to be real into bmx.

Good prices but that frame is too big for you. And what length are the cranks? 180's? 185's? 180's would be good. 185's are too big.

the cranks shouldnt be too long cuz the guy was my size. and yea i was gonna check dans comp, got the catalog around here somewhere just gotta find it.

so 1 person says ill be good on the frame and the other says no. which of you is close to my size and has actually tried it,or somehow has knowledge of htis?

Trust me, the Holmes is named after John Holmes the porn star because the top tube is so big. I had a Reynolds Rap 42, and I think that top tube was only like a half inch longer than the Holmes. I'm almost a foot taller than you so that bike is going to be a limo. Get a Pro. I raced BMX for like... 5 years so I know what im talking about.

Sorry, I would post a link but it wont work. Look at the "sizing chart" on the bottom of the homepage if you cannot figure out this mess above.

The Holmes is a little short for me, I am 6' 2". I had a Homeless (old company based out of Austin) PornStar, fuckin thing ro><0red.

That's a good price for the frame, the cranks are a little steep, but still not bad. I almost bought a Holmes about a year ago, built already with Prince Alberts, Slam Bar, etc.. for 300, but builds are usually cheaper than than piecing one together.

Ok swanny, well i learned to really ride on an old school fueler, back before they came out with the GT bump and all that stuff, so i am actually used to the longer frame. but honestl yea its not recommended, but do you think its gonna be a bitch to bunnyhop this thing or what because its too long?

i think the smaller the better. my racing bike is bigger than my nyquist was and i wish i raced with the nyquist. but good damn theives stole my shit before i could.

thanks guys. i might buy it. BTW, do any of you got any 3 pc cranks, pedals, or chainwheels, or maybe any other parts you wanna sell?

I don't have any parts to sell but I have a Profile SS Crank on my GT Proline. For 160, that's an ok price used, but I wouldn't pay over 140-150 for a used 3 Piece. Hell I got mine for 150 as an upgrade when my dad built my bike 3 years ago.

I love it to death. Best crank ever, never snapped anything on it, while I snapped a torque 3pc not even out of the gate before.

I'm not intot it really anymore, but I still have my racebike all up in awesome shape that I just do manuals on in the street.
