Anyone with a built ZC turbo

Just looking for feedback, me and a buddy are thinking of building a ZC turbo for is car, just looking for opinions on the engine, and past experiences working on these engines. Parts or certain companies i should deal with,or stay away from. We have about $3000-5000 to work with, anyones opinion's welcomed we will be working with a 91 CRXsi, also another question i had, sorry not familiar with forced induction, i have a NA b18c JDM in my rex, but the question i had was if i go turbo on a OBD0, would it be netter to convert to obd1 for management, again i dont know enough on the matter need the expert help, thanks all in advance

Obd1 is more widely supported for tuning, but there are definitely system that will support a Obd0 system. With the amount of $$$ you have I would swap a b18c and turbo that.

Check out www.thezcr.com They have alot of information there. Pretty good people. Ive got alot of help from the guys over there.
