where does the obd1 come into play? Is the harness from an obd1?
If so the harness will not plug and play on your 97 without jumpers for you dash.

Also with an EX harness on A DX car your dizzy plugs will not match and your vtec plugs from the EX harness will not be utilized. Again, jumpers or some fab work will be needed.

    Good luck:D

LS VTEC...so he would use the VTEC on the OBD2 EX wiring harness. If he isn't using a OBD2 harness...and a OBD2 motor....he has lots of problems to figure out. He might be jumping the harness in the kick panel to run an OBD1 chipped ECU and be running all OBD2 under the hood....at least that's that I'd do and head straight to the tuner.

You did say....in the title of the thread. Please get it tuned ASAP (for the sake of your motor and the time/money you put in it). If you take it to someone who knows LSVTEC's....it'll run you $200-300 and you should be safer.
