So basically I'm starting out this project by switching trannys .I'm getten a 5 speed from a d15 I have the clutch and pressure plate as well as the trow out bearing tommarow I'm picking up the rest from this part out . I'm getting the flywheel pedel assembly ,clutch cylinder, all the linkages, short shifter ,all the metal tubings any harnesses ,mounts ,do I need the starter ? What else should I take for the swap I've read around they say this swap isn't that hard so ima try it myself .do I need the ec to ?

I thought so. I was at this Honda specialist today they wher telling me that it would be really complicated and expensive . I just don't see why it seems pretty simple. anyone done this before that can give some advice its a 92 hatch with a d16y7 auto. I'm getten the tranny from a d15.. Any good links? Thanks

Why is there a D16Y7 in your 92 Civic?

Its a swaped engine. I got car like this. Thinking of boosting it would this tranny be alright its a d15b tranny . I got most of the stuff. I couldn't get the flywheel off.but the guys taking it off for me and saving me anything I might need. I have the tranny , shift linkage and short shifter.only clutch pedal couldn't get the other ones off I'm probably just cutting off a piece of the brake pedal , metal tubings from clutch master cylinder to slave cylinder. He stil some stuff do I need any harneses?
