auto to manual

what do i need to convert my 89 hatch to standard and how hard is it

Search members lounge for "Auto to Manual" I wrote an article on how to do it. Teh only thing missing is the wirnig portion.

go and take a look at this site: http://hometown.aol.com/jrmupzaii.auto2man.html, cause i am doing auto to manual on my 89 civic dx hatch. oh and i am guessing yours is a dx also, you might as well do mpfi while you are at it. hit 2 things at once cause you will be using the si ecu and and the si ecu supports both the auto to manual and mpfi. if you have anymore questions just ask. bro

yeah i just finished with mine, all i got left is the clutch and flywheel, but i am having a local shop do that for me cause i couldn't get the last 4 automatic bolts out, cause the heads of the bolt are thinner than the manual ones.
