I just purchased an '05 LX which has the 4-speed AT. What are the gear ratios in this? Does this have a locking TC? It shifts a bit sluggish when its hot, is this a known issue with this tranny? Should the "D3" be used uin town / under 40mph, and the "D" for higher speeds?

I am getting ~36-38 combined city / highway (~30% city / 70% highway driving for the irst 2 tankfuls) - this exceeds the EPA rating on the vehicle; Can I expect this to improve as the drive train breaks in?

I owned a '95 DX a few years ago, but traded it when I bought a 3/4 Ton Diesel truck - which is now parked due to FUEL COSTS - when I went looking for a reliable, economical vehicle, I went straight to the local Honda dealer. So far, it seems like a wise move...

    Thx / Rauschbo

not sure on the gear ratios but they should be in your owners manual.
