I have Golf 5-spokes on my car right now:

I can't find out how much they weigh anywhere. Does anyone know? I want to know if I should mount my AutoX tires (probably Azenis) on steelies (and drive arround on my normal tires mounted on my rims) or mount my new tires on the rims (and put the old tires on some steelies).

What it comes down to is preformance, so esentially what I'm wondering is: which is lighter, 14" steelies or the Jetta/Golf rims?

99% of the time, the alloy will be lighter.

if your only using it for autox, just mount the azenis on the golf wheels, and drive them daily and auto it. azenis are a fine street tire and will last you a full season doing both weekend events and daily driving.
