Avid tractions bars and others

does anyone have traction bars on their car...what difference does it make...is it possible to drive with them on the street...how easy are they to take on and off and are they actually worth it...saw them on a site, wonderign if they work good

Do they help much in Auto X, or are they most useful in drag?

They will help in autocross too because you've got some pretty fast transitions between braking and hard acceleration, most of the time under heavy cornering forces.

my friend makes them and sells for $200, they are great, he is making mine.he lost 1 complete second in the 1/4 mile after putting them on, traction is even better on the street with street tires
