B series tranny's

Are b series trannys interchangable with eachother.

I.E. could i run a GSR tranny on my B16?

-my tranny grinds and im wonderin about replacement stuff. a close friend owns a tranny shop and he will look for a b series tranny if i tell him what ones will fit my car.

BTW, i want to get something with gear ratios similar to what i have now (possibly shorter) so there is no way im puttin in an LS motor.

Oh, and cant i use my LSD with the other trannys?

They run roughly

b16 cable 300
ls cable 300
GSR cable - good luck finding one - 400
LS hydro 450
GSR hydro 500-700
B16 hydro 500-900 (I found one for 300, hehe)
CTR hydro 1000+
ITR hydro 1200+

those are the prices in the general area....if you search enough like I did you can find a legit idiot selling for a cheap price. I got mine for 360 shipped from michigan with 16k on it from an 00 Si, prices depend also on if it has an lsd.
