b series vtec solenoid on z6?

in another post a dude said that if u put a b series vtec solenoid on a z6 ( he said it wont even fit a y8) it will make vtec hit harder? anyone heard of that?

ya do you know how vtec even works??? you should learn that and it will answer all your questions, or atleast give you enough background to make an educated guess.

btw, the solenoid only controls oil flow to the vtec rocker arm locking pins. thus it's an on off switch for the vtec lobe. there is no variability, just straight on or off.
