b16. bance shaft and aluminum pulley

ive read that people remove the balance shaft on there h22's to free up rotational mass, can this be done to a b16? and im running a aluminum crank pulley and ive read mixed reviews about it hurting the oil pump, any truth in this?

if you want to run anything run a ctr crank pulley..they are atleast balanced...the alumnium pieces are junk..but the ctr will only let you keep alt.. no ps or ac
