fixed idle problem

hey man i seen this thread i know its pretty old but im having the same proble with my 98 b18b1 engine with the dizzy all the way retarded i was wondering what sensor it was that you were talking it about that fixed the idleing and you could have the dizzy put it normal position?

he/s talking about the fast idle thermo valve (FITV). it controls the idle when the engine is warming up by creating vacuum leak and letting in more air to warm up the engine quicker. once the engine has heated up enough it shuts itself off and your idle goes down.
