b16 LSD

i have a jdm b16 sir 1 cable tranny and my 5th gear isnt good cuzz it pops out of 5th. My cuzz said that if i put in a LSD that my 5th will work again. I was wondering if i was to get the LSD, do i replace the 5th gear with the LSD or how is it installed?

considering that the Limited slip differential isn't near fifth gear at all.. i would say he is full of shit.. sounds like a problem with the fork .. that is my ITR tranny.. fifth gear is all the way on the top...
