first off im new to the honda scene. this is my buddy's car that im working on and trying to fix. this 1993 hatch car had a d15. bought another hatch with a "b16a2" from japan. the car it came from ran just fine, plenty of power and what-not. another guy did the swap and swapped the engines around. so now the d15 has the b16 and vise virsa. ok.. the car with the new b16 ran, like crap. and the guy said it needed the knock sensor wired up and a new vtec solonid and it would run good. knock was wired up, solonid changed and didnt fix. vtec kicks in after about a min in 1st. the comp is a p30. i have a chipped p28 that im going to try in there and see what happens. im also going to check the firing order and see how it is. but is there anything else i should check? i would extremely appricate it if i can get this car running like it should.... thanks!

The virgin/chipped P28.

"virgin" idk what u mean. its been flashed for no o2, no knock, 7500 redline, more fuel for a turbo h22 thats in a del sol. but its in another del sol with an h22 non turboed and is dumping too much fuel. will it work on the b16

if the car ran fine before the swap with that computer then there proably isnt anything wrong with the computer.

Swap your tps and map sensor plugs

found out it was 2 injectors... i could pull 2 wires and it ran the same. switched the injectors around and the same thing. i got 2 for free and going to try tomorrow

didn't see that one coming, usually it's a map/tps problem because the connctors are the same and during the swap people get the backwards.
It doesn't really make sense tho that the injectors worked before the swap and now they don't, did you check to make sure they were getting power or did you switch them around to find that the same 2 weren't working but the other one's workd in their spot?

take the p28 to your local shop (if your from the cincy area, take it to RACELINE or to ZEROLIFT) raceline hooked me by chipping my p28, putting a us B16 base on it, for 50 bones... i had the same problem, do the ecu thing first is what i would do.. i was throwing like 6 different codes b/c i was running by B16 off a virgin(un-touched) ecu...

we switched them around and found out they were not passing gas.....switched in two others and all problems were solved. still going to get a chipped p28 just because. cars runs its ass off now!!!
