I swapped a b16a into my 93 civic using a p30 Ecu and the wiring harness that came with the b16a. I extended the harness with a extra ex harness i had and match all the same wires together soldered all the wires and tapes it.

I went to start the car i turns over but no spark. The dizzy has 12 volts to it but no spark coming out.

I read it could be the grounds i ran a valve cover ground thermostat is grounded so is the tranny

please help

does it matter that im using the wiring harness that came with the jdm motor and not my ex harness and also it there any other wires i need to add to the computer to make this work basically i plugged and play im going to test the coil and swap it hopefully that works

but i talked to some dude he first said its the ecu i cant use p30 i need to use the p28 and chip it and then he also said i needed to use the ex harness

hopefully hes wrong but i need to get this running soon

also is there anything else needed to be grounded or need more than one ground
