B16 V-tec wireing.

I'm swapping a obd1 jdm b16a in an 1996-1998 non v-tec civic I know i need to add wires to my engine harness such as (1) add the respective wiring for VTEC (2) wire in the KS (3) *perform the IACV mod. I know what the IACV mod consistes of and the KS is only one wire so thats easy enought but what do i need for V-tec just the pressure switch and the solenoid ? is there more ? I will be useing a odb1 p30 ecu if anyone had diagram that would be great also

Don't forget about the knock sensor. I assume you're using a jumper harness to run the OBD2 car off the OBD1 ecu?

find an 96-98 EX engine to ECU harness and you'll eliminate the need for most of the wiring

You should get an EX harness but they're $120-160. It will make it easier. All you would have is the knock sensor and you'll probably need to extend the wires for VTEC and the pressure switch maybe O2 (I had to for a D16Z6 harness).

What conversion to the IACV do you need to make?

On top of the harness/wiring situation, you need the motor/trans/ECU/new or rebuilt axles/shift linkage/motor mounts.

Not sure if any of your EK mounts will work (I always use the B series mounts the swap came with)
